Syfter (The Syfter Group LLC) runs syfter.com. This page says what the site collects, why, and how to reach us about it. Last updated 13 September 2026.

What we collect

Forms. When you use the forms on this site (Point to the seat, Confidential inquiry, Candidate), we receive what you type: name, work email, company, phone, the seat or role, a LinkedIn URL if you give one, and your message. Nothing is collected from a form until you press send.

Analytics. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors or track you across sites. It records page views and general performance data.

Fonts and hosting. Pages load two typefaces from Google Fonts and are served through Cloudflare. Those providers see the technical request data any web server sees, such as your IP address and browser type.

Cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own.

How we use it

Form submissions go to Syfter by email and into a private Google Workspace spreadsheet so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. We use them to respond to you and, if you ask us to, to run a search or a staffing engagement. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists because you used a form.

A confidential inquiry from an executive is handled by Steven Perlman directly and is not shared with any client or third party without your say-so.

How long we keep it

Form submissions are kept for as long as the conversation or engagement is active and for a reasonable period afterward for our records. Ask and we will delete what we hold about you.

Your choices

Email hello@syfter.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you would rather not use a form at all, the same address and 646.504.6221 reach the same people.

Children

This site is for businesses and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
